| 1. Manav – Balanced squad with no glaring weakness. 2. James – Good offensive team with depth. Staring pitching beyond CC could be an issue. If H-town has a good season, he’ll be battling for the top spot. 3. Kao – Solid draft mixing in all-stars with up and coming youngsters. A-Rod makes up for an OF without much pop. Pitching staff should be dope with Peavy, Hamels, Lackey (eventually), Puttz. 4. Pablo – Doesn’t jump off the page at you, but a solid, well put together draft. Good pitching depth. Longoria mishap creates a glaring hole at 3B. 5. Bobby – Santana will probably be able to carry your entire pitching staff. A healthy Pujols gives you an elite offense. One of your best drafts of all time. 6. Mob – A lot of guys coming off career years last year (Ramirez, Pena, Lowell, Ordonez, Bedard). They can’t all repeat that production this year can they? 7. Hanes – Sick 1-2 with Cabrera and Braun. Classic Hanes stretches with Bourn, Snyder, Butler. Best pitchers on his squad are middle relievers. Sorry dawg, looks like your fantasy slump continues. 8. Murphy – Obviously did his homework coming into the draft. Whats next? Regular posts!?!!? Pitching staff keeps him from finishing in the top half though. 9. Hyams – Some solid late round draft picks give you some depth, but there’s no pop in your lineup. Pitching staff could be surprisingly good though. 10. AQ – Kinda hard to predict what to expect from this team with all it’s young players. Well balanced offense, but can Harang and Hill hold down a pitching staff? 11. FQ – Solid offensive team with some familiar faces from last year. Pitching staff is horrid. 12. E/Neil – yeah….nice draft. Have fun not posting for most of the year. | |
